About IAAC Media
Thank you for visiting our site!
IAAC Media’s primary mission is to produce educational and entertaining products that inspire children to make smarter choices about their health, in fun and entertaining ways. Our first book, Getting Back In The Game!, has colorful fictional characters that deliver important messages about the challenges of making healthy food choices, and getting regular exercise. We also want to show kids—through stories—that they have the power within themselves to make smarter choices, not only with their health, but life in general.
Kids learn key health and fitness lessons through cool, positive rap songs/rhymes. The first one, Healthy Choices, is free at www.CardioKidd.com when you buy this book. Adding to the learning and fun, starting with the release of Getting Back In The Game!, we’re giving our readers a chance to compete in an annual Essay or Rap Challenge. There are several more to choose from; checkout our Activity Challenges page for more details.
We will continue to tell stories that include characters from different ethnic backgrounds, genders or have physical challenges, which reflect the world in which we live.

I was born in Brooklyn, NY and attended Marymount College where I majored in pre-med/BS Biology and played basketball four years for the Marymount Spartans. Served five years as an officer in the US Navy; seven years I operated a family styled restaurant/book store, and have been a Master Personal Trainer for the past six years, graduating from the National Personal Training Institute 2004.
Taillefer Long: Illustrator
I was raised in Florence, Italy, and Paris, France until high school and then moved back to the good ol’ US of A. My artwork was first published while attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I ended up doing political cartoons for the Daily Tar Heel (one of the finest University papers in the country!). I’ve been doing cartoons and illustrations ever since and have illustrated 12 children’s books so far. It was by pure chance that Herb contacted me for this project and, I must say, it’s been the most exciting so far!
